Felix had never heard of the Feelings Cup before and he looked quizzically at his mom. Dr. Nancy jumped right in, "The Feelings Cup is where all of the feelings go insude your body. We all have one." Felix and his mom touched the outside of their bellies about where the feelings cup was located on the xray as Dr. Nancy demonstrated. She went on, "It's really important for you to identify the feeling sin your Feelings Cup so you can learn to take care of them. If too many feelings get shoved down into your Feelings Cup, you may expereince a Feelings Explosion. While we all have Feelings Explosions sometimes, it's not good or healthy for us to have them frequently."

About the Book
Felix doesn't believe he has a feelings cup on the inside of his body that holds all of his feelings until, eventually, he has a feelings explosion. Dr. Nancy helps him understand that he is responsible for identifying and taking care of the feelings in his feelings cup so he doesn't have more explosions.

She lives in Indianapolis with her husband (Mark), daughters (Caroline and Ellie) and golden retriever (Maui).
