Chasing Shade: Living with Developmental Trauma

“My goal with this book is to highlight some of the struggles I have experienced with unprocessed trauma, and to acknowledge that many folks may struggle with lingering traumatic fallout, how unprocessed trauma may have a larger impact on social issues, what unprocessed trauma may look like objectively and how we might consider the intersectionality of Developmental Trauma, Relational Trauma, or Chronic / Complex-PTSD with social and professional normative narratives, and the social issues we see in society. I will share some of my stories here as they relate to the broader perspective of understanding what someone with DTD, RT or C-PTSD might be experiencing internally and how these experiences may be incorrectly viewed by folks from the outside.”
