The Book of What Is

God is everything. I mean this literally, not figuratively. Everything in the universe is God. Too many people have the misconception that we are separate from God. We are no more separate from God than a drop of rain that has landed in the ocean. Before time, was God. You may ask yourself, “How is this possible? How could there be a beginning or an end to time itself?” This is a good question because it’s very hard to believe or understand. My answer is that time evolved as the universe evolved. To understand how there could have been a time when time didn’t exist you first have to understand that God is infinite, and you have to fully grasp what it means to be infinite. Remember that you are thinking of infinity from the perspective of a finite mind. If you are thinking on a physical level then you are thinking on a finite level. You must think outside of your own limitations in order to understand infinity. So imagine this; there is no beginning or end to infinity.
