I was a hero to somebody. I’m sure it is a thing. I was a hero to a robin, who was tied up in some string. My walk took me past him, as he was trying to take flight. I had to run to catch him before I could untie. After he was relieved of the noose around his neck, he flew so fast away from me and landed on a deck.

About the Book
Somebody's Hero is a story about everyday heroes. This story helps families and educators to have conversations, with their children, about random acts of kindness, and how they make the people feel giving or receiving those efforts. These people are heroes in the eyes of those receiving the smallest act of kindness.
About the Author
Melissa Lautigar, who has been teaching at the elementary level for twenty-five years and has a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning, would search books in stores that would help her to teach character building within her classroom. Now it's her turn to produce a book that focuses on little acts of kindness.
