About the Author

Karina Mendoza, is a Family Nurse Practitioner in El Paso,TX. She started as a Certified Nurse Assistant and decided to pursue a career in nursing after experiencing her father’s death due to Cancer. As a result of this life changing event, her passion for helping others grows every day. She holds a Master's Degree in Nursing and currently pursues a Doctorate Degree in the same field. She is devoted to learn and grow to be able to help others. She is determined, grateful and passionate about life. Her life motto is “Limits exist only in the mind”.

Jessica Valdivia is the artist behind Essential Clinical Notes by ClinicalExperts Choice, she is a psychology student in Mexico where she currently resides. Since she was little, she felt very connected with art thus creativity is one of her strengths when it comes to her studies. With ClinicalExperts Choice she had the great opportunity to bring together two of the things she likes most, art and health field. This book was created to invite the reader to explore another learning method to obtain knowledge, contains important information distributed in a simple way to remember the content for those who like Jessica enjoy learning in an easier and unconventional way.
