“Let’s look at my healing stones,” mom says as she takes a wooden box off the shelf. “They always help me come back to my center and feel grounded if I’m feeling funky, perhaps they can help you too.” As I look inside the box I see so many beautiful colors! We spread the stones out on the table to get a better look. Some are sparkly, some are smooth and some are rough. “Which ones do you like best?” Mom asks. I pick up a pink one, a purple one and a blue one. “Oooo nice choices,” she says smiling. “The ones you chose are called Rose Quartz, Amethyst and Blue Lace Agate. You can keep them as your very own.” “WOW, thanks mom!” I say. She suggests I sit quietly with each one for a few minutes so I can listen in and notice their energies. Then she explains a little bit about each one.

About the Book
After a rough day at school a young girl is comforted by her mom as she shares her healing stones. She learns about how stones and crystals have uplifting, healing, protective and grounding powers. She also discovers how to help herself cope with the stress of being a kid by using stones and crystals for support. She notices at school, she’s not the only one that knows about these special stones. This is a darling intro to mysticism for families. This book is a first of its kind.
About the Author
Anne was born on the east coast and was raised in Portland, Oregon. She grew up finding agates and sand dollars at the beach, as well as pieces of quartz and jasper along the river banks. She has always loved the outdoors and connecting to nature is essential to her wellbeing. She is honored to be the mother of two vibrant children, both of which she gave birth to at home in Vancouver, Washington. As a mom who’s read hundreds (perhaps thousands) of books to her kids she became inspired to write one of her own based on her unique experiences as a mother.
