Let me take a moment to introduce myself and explain why you should even listen to what I have to say. I was born with the ability to speak with the afterlife. Ever since I can remember, I have had spiritual experiences. From the time I began offering medium readings to my clients, I’ve learned that there seems to be a universal experience regarding life after death. Some people have had the opportunity to see their loved ones after they’ve passed, while others have endured unusual paranormal experiences featuring ghosts or angelic encounters. There’s something genuine happening within the unseen realms that the human world can and has experienced. However, many who have had these experiences seem to be afraid to share their stories. Perhaps they’re scared of being misunderstood, looked upon as crazy, or fearful that their loved ones will not believe them, so many choose to remain quiet.
It seems these experiences occur at various times throughout our lives, especial after a loss of a loved that seems to bring forward a large amount of healing to the recipient. These might be experiences with angels that have saved lives and brought healing, fearful experiences that seem to awaken us to the possibility of a hostile unseen world, or spiritual lessons of a deity that either brings immediate change or gradually transforms the human soul. My personal experiences have led me on the road to healing and made me aware of the need to understand my skills and abilities as a medium.
I believe that some of my experiences have felt like miracles, but I guess that would be a meaning that’s in the eye of the beholder. Some of my experiences have been unusual, while some spiritual encounters were downright strange. My encounters with the spiritual realms led to me becoming a truth seeker of spirit. My desire to understand and to bring light to the religious elements that have presented themselves to me from the other side has empowered me to keep searching and to understand everything clearly. As a truth seeker, I’m a spiritual explorer. I’ve allowed many doors to open from the other side and quickly learned which doors I should not open and which ones were okay to open. Within this book I will reveal all of my knowledge to date.
My goal with this book is to help and inform people about the reality regarding life after death and provide others with information that would enable them to a better life experience. I’ve learned many lessons on this spiritual path, lessons I need to share. The dearly departed have revealed many things to me, the information about which the angels have offered advice have changed me, but my walk with Jesus Christ transformed me. My experiences remind me of the importance of living happier, the power of forgiveness, and the value of prayer. I’ve also learned about the significance of death. I’ve experienced good spirits, evil spirits, and the Holy One, whom I call Jesus.
Some days, I feel like I’m living my life with one foot in heaven. When I attended my first class as an introduction to social work at the age of twenty-three, a light went on or you could say I had my ‘aha’ moment, after spending years overcoming my losses and disappointments in life. During one of the classes, we talked about what was normal or how one could define what was normal in one’s life. I concluded that we couldn’t describe what normal is, only what it is for ourselves. Everyone has their views and values, so how can we determine what is normal if, for some reason, normal isn’t normal for another person. We have our perceptions regarding life and our own uniqueness about ourselves. In this book, I will not be discussing mental health issues regarding spiritual encounters, visions, hearing voices, or seeing apparitions. Neither will I be discussing what the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, or DSM, says in relation to these experiences or about specific diseases. When it comes right down to it, some things are unexplainable and most spiritual or paranormal encounters aren’t usually connected to a mental health disorder. Some may be, but there aren’t many examples. A healthy person might have some very unusual abilities and think they are crazy, but they are completely sane! Someone may have an ability others can’t explain then judgement is passed on them when others are afraid of what they can do. Sometimes we don’t have an understanding or an explanation of certain skills or gifts, like the ability to talk to the dead. And then you have the people who are suffering from mental health issues and their spiritual experiences
may correlate with their diagnosis.
I mention this because I didn’t really understand what I was experiencing at an early age and I worried too that something might not be okay. Yet the spirit world kept telling me it was okay, so I felt okay. Imagine if you’re having spiritual encounters and experiences and are so scared to tell someone. Your fear could send you into a downward spiral and fill your life with anxiety and depression if you allow it. This never happened to me personally, but I can see how easy it could happen to someone else. I’ve always felt different with what I can do and it took me years to learn how to harness my feelings, abilities, and empathic gifts. This is why I took such an interest in learning about mental health when I was younger. My education helped me find a place within my mind where I felt comfortable to be me and to be honest, feeling comfortable speaking about it. Believe me, I am still a little quiet and shy with regards to telling everyone about my encounters with the spirit world. I’m not sure I’ll get over that one and I’ve come to terms with this.
