Abba’s Girl

Chapter 6...Once as a little girl I can remember running away from home with my cousin and a friend of hers. I was going to be the babysitter for her friends little girl while both of them worked. We were going to be on our own. I didn't really give much thought to the whole plan. I was just going along with them. I didn't even consider what this would do to my daddy. (I was raised by my daddy) I never even gave that thought any consideration, actually I really didn't think it would matter much or that anyone would miss me, as there were so many others living in the household and receiving his attention. I really didn't think he would have time to miss me. What with him working all the time and trying to just get by, raising his kids, taking care of his mother and raising his sisters' kids and taking care of each of them. And then, when we got caught, and we did get caught by the police no less, because my daddy did care and he went straight to the police. You see the other two girls were old enough they could legally do as they pleased. Well, when they brought us into the station and called my daddy to come get me, and when he saw me, he started crying, his heart was so broken, I then realized I truly was a daddy's girl, no matter how many others lived in our house, this man really did love me and cared about what happened to me. That is how it was when I came to realize that my Father in heaven saw me the same way, as 'An Abba's Girl'.
