The Author Maria Smith is adopted and a mother of three.Her journey through her adoption has been a life changing experience.She was filled with alot of mixed emotions and wasn't sure how she was going to move forward and heal. It wasn't until she was in her late thirties that she had a strong desire to write a children's book about adoption.She was able to express her emotions and heal at the same time.She loves the idea of helping other parents and their children move forward on their journey.While she was writing this book,she had to think from a mother's point of view, child’s, and a adoptee.This book is filled with much love.Enjoy.
