Lilly was excited and asked, "What are the magical words?" "The words depend on your dreams," said the lady. She then looked at Lilly. "What are some of your dreams?" Lilly thought for a moment and said, "I want to be better at basketball and make the team." Thinking for a moment, the lady said, "You would make a great ball player. You are strong and athletic. Now you must look into the mirror and tell the reflection those words. The girl in the mirror has all the magic, and when you repeat the words, she has the power to make them come true." "But that girl is me," said Lilly. The old worman smiled and said, "Yes I Know."

About the Author
She grew up on the High Plains of Colorado and attended college in Eastern Colorado. She raised her children while living on the treeless plains of the Oklahoma Panhandle. Barbara is an experienced businesswoman, farm wife, Sunday School teacher, substitute teacher, and community volunteer. She became a motivational speaker and leader, before giving herself the personal challenge of developing into a marathon runner. She and her husband, Jim, now call the Sangre de Cristo mountains their home. They are often joined by their children, grandchildren, family, and a host of friends. She is the author of the blog "BarbWire@plainsofchange.com". Barbara spends much of her time hiking among the mountains and trees of her beloved Colorado Her first children's book was born out of the stories and wisdom, of the life of people who believe.
