I Saw an Angel Today. There were so many of them that I could fill a book with their stories. They were the writers, composers, artists, inventors, chemists, biologists, and philosophers of our history. They were responsible for the ground-breaking way of everything we consider to be normal today and tomorrow. Yet, we are inspired, quiet, thoughtful, and reflective when we look at and study their work. They all had amazing stories and have all contributed to our culture and interests. They are loved, respected, honored, and admired as teachers and guides for many of us today. Some of their work is worth millions and some had hardly received pennies for their contributions. I am amazed and wonder how they ever came up with some of the ideas and inspirations that became their life’s work, their passion and, their purpose. Sometimes I feel like they were divinely driven. That they were all working with a higher consciousness and that maybe they had angels sitting on their shoulders, inspiring them, and guiding them. I often feel exactly like that when I write. I can relate to the inspiration, the love, the passion, and the drive. The excitement of the finished product. The hope, dreams and desires that come with the thoughts of how this might help somebody, someday. As I reflect on all the amazing angels of our history, I am filled with the appreciation of them all, and the ones to come. Including you and I. I will never forget them.
