About the Book
This is a romance story that is set in Scotland in the 1900’s. It is about love, tragedy, and struggles. It is about a young lass by the name of Catherine MacAlister, who lives with her father, the earl of MacAlister, in a castle in Scotland called MacAlister castle. Catherine was an only child who lived in MacAlister castle in Scotland. Catherine was very beautiful, with a beauty of a rare kind. Hoping for an heir, the earl had remarried when Catherine was seven, but the second Lady MacAlister died a few years after her union with him. Catherine’s half brother, Matthew, who had been only two years old when he first came to MacAlister castle, knew nothing. Matthew has epilepsy. Catherine called for the doctor, Johnathon Pendrill, in the night to check on his cousin, who, five years ago, had an accident on a cliff and fell. Matthew’s doctor is also his cousin. Johnathon said to Catherine, “I will look in on him tomorrow, but I assure you that there is no cause for anxiety. He is no worse than usual.”
About the Author
My name is Graham Lomas. This is my biography. I was born in Geelong, Victoria, Australia in the 1950’s. I went to a school in Geelong were I learnt my A.B.C.’s and in later years I went to another school in Barwon Heads, in Victoria as the years rolled on, I was interested in writing essays. I guess this is where I started to get the feel for writing. I love writing novels is what I like the best and also children’s stories. I have two children’s books already published and I have many more. I have an action novel soon to be published and I thought I would write a western story. I like the old western movies. I have many hobbies like astronomy, photography, building large model aircraft, and body building. It keeps me fit, and also I like art as well particularly paint by numbers. I have a dream of owning our own house with lots of land with tree’s and a lake. I also entered a writing contest with Simon & Schuster. It was called “Star Trek Strange New World” contest.
