About the Author

Crystal Joy comes from a lineage of pastors, teachers, and performing artists. She has an uncanny way of recognizing multiple ways everything in life connects, especially with arts and academics. She feeds on the knowledge of how God works in each of us through our God-given niche. Crystal’s love for the arts drew her to stage, television, radio, and film for over thirty years. She also appeared in a film with the late comedian/actor Robin Williams. In addition, she enjoys creatively teaching several subjects on the junior high and college levels. Her thirst for education yielded an AS degree in social sciences, a BS degree in telecommunication and broadcasting, a twelve-month graduate study and training in social work, and an M.Ed. in education administration. As she writes more books, Crystal works tirelessly as department head and producer of the theater ministry for her church in Tennessee, where she resides.
