I congratulate all of those who have reached level 103 of our School of Life, because you were not intimidated by the intensity of the tests nor did you copy from your fellow students in their various levels of learning. In level 101, we tried to inspire you to answer the three enigmas of our earthly experience: Who are we? Where do we come from? And where are we heading? By analyzing the testimonials of our individual experience, scientific evidence and the philosophy outlined by the great sages that preceded us along the way, we are trying to have you answer them individually by looking at the deepest part of your being.
In the first book we emphasized that every failure always resulted in a learning process, which allowed us to restructure our study plan to keep taking the tests unceasingly until we learned the lesson. These tests shouldn't be construed as a punishment from the regents of our universal school, but rather as a loving act of patience and trust in our capacity to ace them. Remember that the dropouts were those who gave up and stopped taking their tests.
In level 1.2, we wanted to address younger minds, whose daily perspective depends more upon modern technology, which is why we transformed the traditional scientific and religious viewpoint into a a more cybernetic one. In this one, we became programmers and cyberdomain browsers, varying in personal experiences according to program purity and their degree of corruption. Therefore, we concluded the best way to improve our individual browsing experience is by reprogramming, updating our “softwares” and purging our operating systems from all viral invasions. In each of the previous volumes, we introduced techniques that facilitated the reprogramming and learning process, and we shall go deeper into this as we publish the following levels.
In level 103 we shall discover new angles to the three questions presented in level 101, and we shall discuss intensely and in detail the origins and techniques that will help us effectively wipe out all viral contamination (guilt), which we have allowed into our learning programs. We could compare these alterations with emotional scars in our mind's mirror, which have not yet healed, suffered while our soul (Warrior of Light) journeyed through the battles on the School of Life.
First, when we do a close study on how it was that we received these hurtful lessons, we'll find that their origins are self-inflicted by imaginary archetypical enemies created by our own mind. Later, when we identify the causes and origins of these mythical dragons, we will be able to identify the techniques we need to use to heal them. And, finally, how we can prevent them from recurring after our initial recovery. From the first phase, we have put together a first aid kit for the battlefield, where we emphasize that the best medicine in stock is the antidote of Forgiveness, and the most effective vaccine is the awareness of the common legacy of Love that unites us, from where compassion and patience to avoid the emotional conflicts that lead to war in the School of Life are born.
We will study in detail how the relationship between our biological DNA's hereditary programs, the epigenetic details of our lifestyles, and the programming learned in life's different stages could run wild, manifesting as physical and mental diseases. We will once again insist on our own responsibility for the onset of suffering in our lives, when we disconnect from the Universe's primordial program, Love, and due to our ignorance of the interdependence that unites us as Warriors of Light.
As we customarily do, after each chapter we will have study questions and exercises to develop the necessary skills to heal our wounds and prevent future battles. I invite you to boldly join this voyage to the deepest and most mysterious part of our being and, with plenty of patience and compassion, help heal the emotional wounds of your Inner Warrior of Light. As this wise saying states:
“The weapon of the true Warrior of Light is the compassion and the patience to wait for the other person to learn what he has already learned.”
Before accepting you into the ranks of the Warriors of Light, you must take the Oath of the Warrior of Light.
The Oath of the Warrior of Light
I am a Warrior of Light, who never abandons his mission nor surrenders before the dark forces. I accept that my mission is to learn to love and to let myself be loved, and to bring a message of hope to others. That everyone is a beloved son of the Light, and that without us, Love would not manifest, but would be snuffed out in Creation. I know that my worst enemy is the ego, which creates the illusion of tridimensional time and space, birth and death. This is the son of deceit, originated by our mind, facing the loneliness of disconnection from the Light, our creative source. I understand that emotions and the attachment to emotions are born from the memories of the universal feelings, and from having lived in the never-ending presence of Love. The variability and subjectivity of emotional experience, as well as the suffering from the tonal experience of duality, arise due to the transitory and individual nature of said emotions. I pledge to remember my way back to the Light, and to help others to remember theirs.
A battle between the light of your knowledge and the shadows of your ignorance is happening as you read this cover. Your warrior of light is receiving wounds that cause your life’s suffering.
Do you want to give your internal warrior the best weapons to reach victory?
In this book, the third in the School of Life trilogy, Dr. Figueroa-Otero helps us discover our mind’s magical mirror, where this epic battle determines where we are in the road to return to our light source. You will learn about your spiritual DNA, emotions, and where to find the healing code for our emotional scars—forgiveness.
