About the Book
Parents nowadays are so invested in their children, they often lose themselves in the task of child-rearing.
Through paintings and letters, this book provides a warm reminder that everything parents do is valuable, that they are not alone in doubt and fatigue, and that they are successful because they do the best they can.
About the Author
The most important job author Oyuki Aguilar has is being a mom. Though it is challenging at times, she finds it extremely enlightening and rewarding. She supposes she enjoys it so much because she has an autoimmune disease—multiple sclerosis—and that helps her put things in perspective. She constantly pictures a future of her children's lives without her, and that drives her to savor each moment she shares with them. She always tries to make something special out of the ordinary so the children will have a strong love tool to help them cope with life if she’s ever absent.
Oyuki lives on the West Coast, where the weather is always perfect, so she and her family take advantage of this gift and do plenty of outdoor activities. Their home is not very big, but they do have a very big backyard, and her children spend most of their days playing outside.
She feels truly lucky and blessed.
