Maggie Branath is a licensed Massage Therapist, a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and certified trainer. She is the owner of Essential Healthworks, which promotes wellness through her three disciplines. Maggie is an avid kayaker in the Hudson River, Long Island Sound or any lake will do. She was one of the first organizers for the first “Memory Walks” of the Rockland County Alzheimer’s Association and she currently serves on the Board of Marian Woods, an adult residence in Hartsdale, New York. She raises money through 5k races and biathlons for charitable causes, including animal rescue. Maggie currently has a rescued dog and cat.
Noël F. Caraccio is a full time practicing attorney in Mamaroneck, New York specializing in real estate, trusts and estates, commercial litigation and Credit Union law. Noël grew up in Rye, New York and has lived her whole life in Westchester County. She has served on numerous not-for-profit Boards, including the Grievance Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association, Bonnie Briar Country Club and School of the Holy Child.
As a senior in college, Noël was the recipient of a Danforth Fellowship for a Ph.D. in English, but decided to go to law school instead. Her interest in creative writing goes back a long way. She is an avid golfer and won the Club Championship at Bonnie Briar Country Club.
Maggie and Noël met when Noël was Maggie’s patient. They are close friends and they have used their talents and experiences in writing. They write, delete, argue and come to agreement, and this is how Secrets Change Everything came about.
