Working with the Light

Chapter 1. Introduction.

This book is written for the beginner to the advanced of those that wish to work with spirit. I decided to write this book after I had several students say that they would like my teachings in a book so that they could frequently reference it at home.

There also seemed to be a lack of knowledge on how to clear and protect your personal energies and also that of your home, works space etc. I enjoy sharing the knowledge that took several years to learn as well as to put into practice, so that I had honed the skill set that I had been taught as a student myself. I believe that this information should not be kept secret, but used by everyone on a daily basis regardless of working as a medium with spirit or not. For anyone who has had the misfortune of enduring the experience of psychic attack, the information contained within the pages of this book will come as a relief.

I know personally how bad psychic attack can affect us and those around us. So, if this book can help even just one person with being able to shield themselves with the help of the world of spirit, then I will be happy. I have had so much help from the beautiful souls around me, that it is my time to pass on the knowledge to help empower others.

There is so much joy in being able to know how to communicate with higher guides and have them as a constant in your life and being able to tell the difference between a higher being and a lower energy.

I have included in this book a step by step guide to doing spirit healings with spiritual healing as I have found that there seems to be some confusion about the difference of the two things. Also my teacher made all her students learn how to do spirit healings, clearing and protection work by memory. That took quite a while listening week after week as nobody was allowed to write down anything. I can understand the way that she thought as you really do need to remember this work if you are going to go out to do house clearings and cleansings or spirit healings etc. It does not look very professional if you need to pull out this book or any notes to complete the work in front of your clients.

I do recommend any beginners to find a good teacher that has been in a class previously with a spiritual teacher for at least the minimum of 2 years. I was told originally by my spiritual teacher that it takes at least 2 to 5 years to fully develop your Mediumship skills. I personally stayed with my teacher for 7 and a half years to gain all the knowledge that I utilise and share with others including you reading this book.

Look for a spiritual teacher offering classes called psychic development/Mediumship class or personal development class as these are often the same content. Always ask your potential teacher a lot of questions prior to sitting with them to ensure that they have the knowledge and that they are coming from the right place. There are some people who just have book knowledge that run classes, but I highly recommend to you to going to someone with the experience of being in a class situation previously to teaching any students.

I personally belong to the International of Spiritualists (I.C.S.) and within that association you should be able to find a good spiritual teacher in your area. If there isn’t one in your area, then also try the Victoria Spiritualist Union (V.S.U) if you live in Australia.

.Chapter 2: Advantages of working with the Light.

We all have to make a choice as to whether we choose to work with the light or with the dark forces. If you are sitting on the fence and have not made your choice yet as you are weighing up your options, then I suggest that you think this over carefully before making up your mind.

Some people can get hooked into the darker side because of the perceived power that the person gains and they are made to feel that they are in control. Darker beings go and do their bidding when they want to get revenge on someone and the person feels very powerful with this ability that they think they possess. If they can hear the dark ones they are led to believe that everything they desire will be theirs for the taking.

Personally, I have seen quite a few people who have chosen this path, and I am yet to see one happy person! If you think about people you have known who seek revenge on others or who do not so nice things to others, you will see this to be true. They are often depressed and can have anger issues to name just a couple of things.

For those of you who wish to work and stay in the light, then you have plenty of higher beings ready to help you with your life and all aspects of it. They will help with anything that you ask for except anything negative or going against others karma or any manipulation for self-gain. There are higher beings including the Angelic realm that can even help with finding a great parking spot. It really works, just try it yourself next time you go shopping. Just make sure you ask before you leave home so there is enough time to get your request. Mind you, occasionally I have had a bit of a walk and I figure that I needed some exercise as I had been sitting all day!

I always say that without spirit I could do nothing! I am talking about Mediumship as well as all the clearing, cleansing, protecting and healing work that they do with me and working through me as a channel for them. They do amazing work with clearing out all negativity in all forms and protecting us from harm. I will cover more on this in depth within other chapters. So, in short they can keep us safe, cleansed, protected, guided and healed and the same for our loved ones.
