As adults, we often crave foods from our childhoods. I am very grateful for having had mostly home-cooked meals prepared by my mother or grandmother as a child. Most of my comfort foods and cravings are therefore healthy ones. I want that for my children, too.
I believe that the earlier we introduce good, real, whole foods to our children, the sooner we are creating a fundamental healthy approach to food and building blocks for a healthy body and mind.
