Foreword
Do you believe that “old and ugly” go hand in hand? Do you believe that just because you are older, you cannot possibly be sexy, productive and beautiful? Are you a person who believes that “it’s all over” once you hit menopause or andropause?
Please let me assure you “it ain’t necessarily so!”
I am here to plead the case for beauty at any age. As a friend of mine says, “There’s no alibi for ugly!” And what I offer to each of my clients and readers is a route to beauty in every sense of the word. I intend to prove to you that the body is self-healing, and that, if provided with the proper natural care, it will thrive; regardless of age, you can remain healthy, beautiful and sexy until you depart from this plane.
By natural care I mean ingesting the proper nutrients, avoiding surgeries and drugs, exercising consistently, and striving for excellence in every area of life. You achieve this excellence when you choose a way of life that places your Essence, or Soul, in a position of your beloved, perceiving your Essence in the way that you would “see” and “treat” the love of your life, the lover you have always longed for and dreamt about since you were a child. This is the rightful place of that which has chosen to create your particular life experience. Treat it accordingly. This is your Source of life, health and beauty.
Does it not seem reasonable to treat that aspect as sacred and worthy of the deepest respect that you can muster? After all, we long for beauty in our lives and go to great extremes to acquire it. Think about it! It is all about beauty. Don’t you seek whatever you seek in life because somehow it will bring you some sort of beauty? Its particular expression may be comfort, travel, a new house, car, clothes, social position, or what have you. But really, don’t any or all of these reasons ultimately represent pleasure? Pleasure is beauty. Beauty is pleasure.
Could our search for beauty also mean that we seek it “out there” because we don’t see it in ourselves? Perhaps we could start transforming that which isn’t beautiful in ourselves and allowing our Soul, Self, or Essence, to be revealed. That is where true beauty resides.
We can start by defining beauty. To me, it means balance expressing itself in serenity and well-being. When there is balance, there is an energy flow that allows every cell of our body to be properly nourished. When this occurs, a sense of well-being is inevitable. If this balance is to be maintained, we must work on the subconscious to first become aware and then to release long-held beliefs of limitation, resentments and behaviors that disrupt the energy flow.
Then, healing and regeneration are allowed to occur. I speak not just from personal experience but from what I have ob-served in my clients.
Behaviors are influenced by our internal health, of that there should be no question. I want to point out that malfunctioning organs often cause objectionable behaviors which we assume are an integral part of personality, when in truth these malfunctions may have developed in the womb, when we were children or as adults and can actually be brought into balance, thereby changing the behavior pattern.
We must learn about these malfunctions because until we do, we are at the effect of them and thinking we cannot con-trol them, we judge ourselves and find ourselves unlovable.
True and permanent healing provides the body with the means to rebuild itself. This is accomplished through, a) nu-trients that your body can transform and assimilate; b) respect and compassion for your humanity; c) loving yourself objectively upon discovering truths that are often unacceptable; and, d) being willing to change.
The willingness to change does not in itself imply that change will occur. Even though you may gain knowledge, you must become aware of the commitment required to change those age-old patterns that may have developed due to organ malfunction and habitual thoughtless behavior. So, the factor that will make all things possible is consciousness.
You must become vigilant of your every thought because every thought materializes into words, every word into action, every action into habit; all your habits comprise your character and, therefore, your destiny. You may have seen or heard these words or something similar before and I can assure you that truer words you won’t find.
Thoughts, based on your beliefs and conditioning from your environment, will generate your feelings and emotions and these in turn will determine the state of your health, wealth and beauty.
Consciousness is a journey of self-discovery and what each of us must uncover is the motivation for our behaviors. We need to learn about our beliefs because the thoughts that these beliefs generate are what create our lives. I am intent on helping my clients see why they are not getting what they want. I have learned that we all have our blind spots when we are immersed in situations causing physical and/or emotional stress.
The most important cause of lack in our lives, and what most of us are resistant to believing, is that we will always attract what we are like rather than what we want. The simple law of attraction is often misunderstood because, too often, we identify with only the “good” aspects of ourselves while denying any of the “dark” aspects. In other words, most people are not aware that some thoughts and behaviors have become automatic and that we refuse to own them because we may not be proud of them. We don’t realize that what is occurring in the subconscious actually repels what we want.
Even though we may keep ourselves in check and not act out “dark” thoughts or feelings, the energy or frequency generated by such thoughts is the very thing that keeps us from getting what we want. I want to point out that as we become older the ability to keep ourselves in check seems to diminish, contributing to what makes many “old and ugly.”
We all want happiness, and we all have conflicting subcon-scious beliefs that negate that desire. Delving into the subconscious can be the most fascinating journey we ever undertake. It requires a great deal of love and stamina to be able to see ourselves as we really are and to embrace our humanity alongside our divinity. Until we love ourselves enough to want to see our truth, good and not so good, we delude ourselves and live as victims.
