About the Author

MICHELLE is a Teacher of Swimming who “Specialises” In Infant Aquatics, Who has her own Accredited Swim Centre in DARWIN, N.T. Michelle hails from Perth in Western Australia, Has Lived in Johannesburg, Then moved to California where she lived for many years before returning to Perth as a teenager.

Michelle’s numerous vocations Include Teaching/Photography/Painting/Modelling/Mining & Haul Pac Driving/ Pearling/Poetry and Writer. Michelle wanted to pass on her skills & knowledge to others, giving them the confidence & Love of the water that she still possesses today.

Michelle lived in the remote towns of Kununurra in the Kimberley’s in W.A, whilst employed as a Heavy Plant operator at one of the world’s largest diamond mines. Michelle also lived in Broome in W.A, Where she immersed herself in the Pearling Industry, Learning all Facets of the industry, from working on the boats, Grooming & collecting shell, Grading pearls and all the processes in between. Both are magical parts of the world for Inspiration & Growth. Michelle has a passion for people & loves seeing the exchange of knowledge and the rewards that follow, from giving the “GIFT” Of “Swimming for life” Not only for children but for many adults as well.
