Lyndon Davis hails from Waco, Texas. He grew up in the home of a chiropractor, Dr. Robert F. Davis Jr.—who was referred to as the local “witch doctor”—and Lyndon’s mother, a poet with her own following. Lyndon always exhibited a voracious appetite for the mystical and all-inclusiveness of the Creator. Lyndon’s parents always encouraged him in developing his own relationship to the Creator and living his own life. Mrs. Marjorie A. Davis gave the twenty-two-year-old Lyndon Creative Mind and Success, by Ernest Holmes, which led to the discovery of unity, religious science, A Course in Miracles, and the life-altering film of Shirley MacLaine’s Out on a Limb. All of these led Lyndon to a practice of being his best.
