About the Author

Angela began her career as a middle-school teacher on Long Island, New York in 1980. She taught inner-city high school students upstate New York for fifteen years and is currently an adjunct professor at Antioch University in Los Angeles. Angela believes passionately that all children have unique gifts to share and that schools must grow to support this process. Her vision is to contribute to the evolutionary leap that schools must take to meet the complex needs of today’s youth.
