In 1993, Dr. Rahsaan Armand said “yes” to God’s call to preach. As a native of Chicago, he was trained for Ministry by the Reverend Dr. Christopher A. Hill Jr. at the historic Monumental Baptist Church, and later served as Youth Pastor of West Point Baptist Church. He attended the prestigious Northwestern University (Evanston, IL.) for undergraduate studies, and Trinity Evangelical Seminary (Deerfield, IL.) for divinity studies. After being ordained a Baptist preacher, Armand headed to Philadelphia, PA. to serve the late Reverend Charles Walker and the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church as Assistant to the Pastor. Dr. Armand has traveled the country as a revivalist, and is a 20 plus-year veteran instructor and lecturer for the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education. Currently, he serves as Pastor of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Clarksburg, WV. In 2010, he proposed, on the stage of the National Baptist Congress, to Anita Johnson, Fairmont, WV. He wed the love of his life in May, 2011. Armand earned his Doctorate of Ministry from St. Thomas Christian University, Jacksonville, FL. He is the proud father of three daughters, Ariel, Ava and A’na.
