How Joseph Met the President is the story of how a four-year-old boy and his mother went to see a president who came to town, met him, and took a photo with him.

About the Author

Leola Wilkerson-Williams, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, is a retired social worker and a born-again Christian. She earned a BS in social work from Tuskegee University and an MSW from Florida State University. She is a member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She and her husband, Lafayette Williams Sr., have four children—Byron Sr., Lafayette Jr., Langston, and Joseph—and three grandchildren. Although this is her first book, she enjoys writing poetry.
