About the Author
Frank and Kimberlee Spillers are the co-owners of Global Horizons, LLC, whose purpose is to use big-picture visioning and passion to motivate and guide people to discover their unique talents to build the future. With 25 years of experience from chamber director to the Iowa economic developer for the USDA to entrepreneur, Frank’s expertise has impacted thousands across the U.S. teaching, coaching, leading, and presenting dynamic, thought-provoking, and entertaining keynotes, workshops and strategic planning sessions for communities, businesses, schools, and organizations. Frank is a graduate of Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, with a degree in secondary business education and psychology minor. Kim is a graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, with a degree in journalism and public relations. He is trained in moderating, mediation, deliberation, and facilitation he’s used in community and economic development at the local, state, and federal levels. Her extensive background as an editor, member/chair of numerous local, county, and state boards, community organizer, mentor, and business owner give her broad perspective.
