Dr. Jorge Bordenave has been in private practice in South Florida for more than fifteen years. Specializing in internal medicine, he then completed a cardiology fellowship at Mt. SInai Medical Center, where he trained in invasive and nuclear cardiology. He has received the NCQA quality recognition award for excellence in heart/stroke and diabetes management and has been on the forefront of teaching and educating patients about the importance of diet, nutrition, and activity in maintaining health. He recently completed his third fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona, where he learned about wellness, preventive medicine, and the importance of balance in well-being and disease prevention.
While traditional Western medicine trains doctors to specialize in diseases, Dr. Bordenave has dedicated himself to the practice of patient care, recognizing that each patient has unique needs and requires individualized care.
