WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION
Hello and Welcome to Aspiring to Mastery . My name is Jacqueline Day and it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this very special program that I have put together especially for you. Aspiring to Mastery has been a labour of love and passion for me and I look forward to you and I embarking on a wonderful journey together which will enrich your life and unlock your hidden potential.
In my work as a Master Neuro Linguistic Programmer, Master Coach, Trainer, Emotional Freedom Therapist and Inspirational Speaker, it never ceases to amaze me just how much unlimited potential we as human beings have.
The practices outlined In Aspiring to Mastery will help you to enhance and develop your self-awareness and communication which is vital in order to help you achieve your full potential. I truly believe that these practices act as a catalyst for change, maximising the potential of individuals, empowering them to reach their life successes and goals. Each and every one of these life principles in this program are the very foundation for whatever it is that you wish to master in any area of your life. Apply these principles to your business life, your relationships, your personal development, your spirituality, your physical health, your wealth development. These life principles when learnt and applied daily without fail are at the very core of mastering, manifesting and attracting what you desire in every aspect of your life. You will also notice in this program how all of these life principles and practices belong together, they are all part of a team, they all inter relate to one another, they all connect. The key is to use all of them all the time, every single day of your life; do not leave any one of them out as they will all serve you well.
In my work it is interesting to find that each individual has their own 'map of the world' and lives in a different reality from every other individual. This means that each one of us operates on our own experience of the world. I know that you may have heard the saying 'the map is not the territory' which is a metaphor that is at the very heart of NLP. Perhaps a relevant way to express this is in the same way that a menu is not a meal , so the experience we have of the world is not the world itself. One person’s perception will vary from another person’s perception and their reality.
We give each event meaning and different people will give the same event a different meaning. The reason for this is that as human beings we process information through our five senses and through our brain and nervous system.
The five senses are sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Our mind and body connect through the nervous system and the five senses are our mental pathways that run across our body and mind. We consciously and unconsciously delete what we do not want to pay attention to. The remaining data we filter based upon our past experiences, values and beliefs. Some of the information is generalised or even distorted, some is deleted and the remainder is filtered and forms our internal map which in turn will influence our physiology and state of being.
Just like you and I are able to store and upgrade software on our Personal Computers, we can install and upgrade our mental software therefore changing the way in which we think and the actions we carry out. This has a chain reaction of sorts, since changing our thoughts will change our feelings which will in turn change our behaviour. When we change the qualities of the images, our experiences alter and it is then that new programming will take place.
New ways of thinking and solving problems can be created so that you can be at your best more often and communicate with excellence. It is important also to understand in this program that the conscious mind will hold approximately only seven pieces of information at any one time, it has the ability to accept or reject any such information.
The important difference to take on board between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind is that the sub conscious mind is more powerful and can take in hundreds and thousands of pieces of information; however it does not have the ability to accept or reject. It stores exactly what you have asked it to store from your conscious mind. It will support ALL your beliefs whether they are negative or positive. Your subconscious mind will want to prove you right and will be very loyal and obedient always thinking that it is acting in your best interest. I think that you will agree that it is important to hold our beliefs as positively as possible as they have such a powerful influence on our subconscious mind.
Our subconscious mind is perhaps the most faithful servant that we will ever have. Whatever you believe to be true your subconscious mind will strive to prove you right and fulfill your commands. If you constantly tell your subconscious mind that you are wealthy, it will move heaven and earth to manifest that reality for you encouraging you to take relevant actions. If on the other hand you are in-congruent in what you say and do and have a consciousness of lack, it will exert the same amount of force and power to manifest that reality for you. For instance if you ask for a red sports Mercedes and then you say to yourself that you will not be able to afford the running costs, you will send out confusing messages and the Mercedes will not be delivered to you. Ask, BELIEVE and receive. The secret is to really really BELIEVE. The moment you have a counter intention you do not believe it to be possible so you will not receive.
When I am working with my clients, I always provide them with a set of tools and techniques to help them develop an attitude and mindset which is outcome focussed. Their new patterns of thinking and communicating mean that their outcomes become meaningful, verifiable, compelling and achievable. They become really clear about the benefits of their goal achievement and the possible consequences if they do not start taking action soon. Much work and progress is made on exactly what was holding them back and stopping them from performing at their full potential. When I coach it is my heartiest desire that my clients are successful and develop their unlimited potential to unleash all the power that is truly within them.
Yes we really do have unlimited potential. With unlimited potential comes unlimited resourcefulness, unlimited energy, unlimited life and in life itself there is growth.
Life is not still or static, it is always moving forward and meeting forever changing conditions.
Along your life path, you may meet with many obstacles and even fears to conquer. When any fear or self doubt is resolved and released, we as human beings can move forward in ways we may not have ever imagined. What once was perceived to be an obstacle will become a challenge from which you can develop and learn from?
