Can Turtles Read Signs Mummy? Mac is a curious little boy who asks many searching questions. When Mac finds a Saw Shelled Turtle while the family are on the building site of their new home, Mum asks the local wildlife carers where to take the turtle for safety. The answer was unexpected, so the family decided to release the turtle into the local lake, (which feeds into the river running along the state border) so it can find its way home. In a funny twist Mac asks simply – ‘Can turtles read signs Mummy?’ Based on a true story. Characters are fictional.
