Enhancers to Strengthen Life Wishes. Reputation We all need fame or recognition in some way or another. Perhaps credit for efforts is necessary to advance our life's journey. The South Compass area and the Reputation Point should be enhanced if you open new business premises. But suppose the South (Fire Element) is only a tiny part of a wall in the dark. Cure it and make that ambition zing with large mirrors and lights. How about nine lights, a large red bird, and red and purple flowers growing in a wooden tub? Why wood? Because Wood feeds Fire, which is the Element coupled with Reputation. If there is space, hang a shining glass, wood frame photo of pointed, red and purple hazed mountains or a pyramid with red sun in the background and yellow sand. Yellow is the colour of Earth that Fire generates, ensuring Fire is doing its job. You could paint nine red and purple triangles on the wall and fully light it. Crystal chandeliers, lit candles, shining glass baubles and mirrors are perfect in this area because they attract light. Be careful to place your mirrors high so they don't behead anyone in their reflection. Display a physical symbol of your career goal; if you have awards, place them here. Marriage and Partnerships The Marriage Point should feature square shapes and never have water near it, not even a picture of water, because Earth destroys Water (refer to the cycle of destruction). But a tiny vase holding a small quantity of water and two fresh flowers can feature. As soon as the flowers wither, remove them or your ambitions in this area will weaken. Honouring this area is of utmost importance because partnerships represent personal relationships, marriage, business partners and alliances with animals. Activate your Earth element with yellow and soft brown. Strengthen your earth Elements with a painting of ripened wheat in a field, clay pots, and lit candles. The latter represents Fire, which generates Earth; the clay object is made of the earth, while the subject in the painting represents nourishment and tranquillity. For two reasons, avoid mirrors in this area: mirrors suggest water, attract light, and are not wanted in a Yin area. Soften existing and immovable mirrors by covering them with fabric while sleeping. Avoid electrical apparatus, primarily TV and radio. Always have two pillows and two teddies. Do not use dried flowers as they represent death, but you can use silk flowers. Some like to keep their bridal bouquet. Then, it is best kept in a silver or pottery frame with delustered glass. Balance both sides of the bed with matching cabinets and bedside lighting on tall stands to activate the fire Element to nourish your Earth Element. Bedroom art and photographs must be carefully selected. Select lovers in an embrace, laughing while looking at each other, two birds in flight, and flowers without thorns on their stems. The bedroom must have no pictures of family, children, guides or angels. Children and family are in the designated family and health area, while angels and guides are in the friend area. Marriage and Partnerships are activated in the southwest and at the marriage point in Bagua. The colour of the sheets on the bed is essential. Never use black or navy, rich purple or red. Bed covers should be as they are throughout your bedroom: beige, pink, violet, soft rose and silver. Water beds may cause health problems because the Water Element weakens the Earth Element. Cover waterbeds with a thick, dark sheet. Creativity and Luck of Children The Bagua area is west and in the centre of the right wall taken from the entrance looking into the room. Its animal symbol is the White Tiger, and it is wise not to disturb this heavenly beast, so music and colours should be gentle. If you and other members of your direct family are creative, display artistic work, cups for sports and other excellence awards. Framed photos should be in silver or soft metallic shades. Shapes should be oval, round and square because the former represents Metal and the latter Earth, which yields precious metal. Display children's baby booties, their grandparents teaching them something, and photos of children and adults building sandcastles—actions showing creativity, joy and bonding. Your animal photographs belong here as well as in the family area. If you are preparing to lecture on any subject, this is your creative spark, so go to this area and start writing or recording. If there are family and work-related problems, meditate here to find an answer. Friend, Networking, and Travel The Friend Point is found in the northwest and at the lower corner of the right wall as you look in from the entrance. Here, you can harness energy to help you achieve your dreams. Helpful people remain helpful if you express your gratitude, so put a photo or item they have given you in a prominent position. Remind yourself of their help by displaying something symbolic of that period. Here, you can place a small water fountain with a statue or symbol of the subject you need to network nearby. Perhaps you wish to travel, then place a map or globe nearby, mark where you fancy, and a poster/picture or symbol of a ship, an aircraft, or a vehicle. Perhaps you'd like to work in an animal sanctuary, then find a photo of someone working in such circumstances. If you know how to use Photoshop, put yourself in the picture. Many people recognise having guides, guardian angels and spirit beings. The Friend Point is the perfect area to honour these helpful beings. Shapes here are round and oval in the main. Small square items strengthen this ambition. Materials are gold-coloured metal and ceramic, earthenware, and pottery. Avoid pointed and elliptical shapes, red, purple, green and turquoise. Friend Point colours are Grey, white and very pastel. Materials are metal and shiny objects.
