About the Book

Family, security, and order are the principles which governed the life that Gerri Henry and her husband had chosen. They settled in River Town, far enough away from the big city – their life revolving around their strong family connections, and raising their children in a healthy, loving environment. However, when her husband dies tragically, Gerri is left to hold the family banner and her usually outgoing, friendly and community-based connections dwindle, as she becomes more insular; focusing on protecting and raising her children, to the exclusion of her own personal happiness. Samuel Masters is outgoing, confident and successful. He has been raised to think outside the box; his mixed Aboriginal and English heritage never at odds with each other. He accepts change as a constant, inevitable part of life and lives in harmony with his worldly ambitions; achieving financial success as a real estate and property developer. He also lives in harmony with his ancestral roots, maintaining strong family connections and pride in his mixed heritage. The only important aspect that has eluded him is a life partner. But universal cogs are turning, and Sam arrives in River Town to purchase the boutique hotel which Gerri manages, meeting the woman he has been waiting for. His attraction to her is spontaneous and deep. But Gerri is reluctant to leave her secure world, and refuses to let Sam into her life, in spite of her own deep attraction to him. Their journey to love is fraught with personal obstacles, and neither can know the consequences which will follow them on such a journey. Neither is fully prepared for the total eclipse of their collision and each must learn to adopt a new perspective. Follow their journey and adopt their spirit.

About the Author

J.A. GOSEK was born in Australia to English and Australian parents. Her love for writing had been encouraged by her work as a marriage celebrant; writing love stories about couples who had found each other in a world of billions, and amid the milieu of interesting and sometimes seemingly unlikely scenarios. This led to her intrigue for creating her own love stories – creating unique characters who forged their own path to love. Jeanette is happily married to her ‘wonderful, supportive husband of fifty years’ and they live in the beautiful Illawarra region of Shellharbour. They have two children and three grandchildren. She is also very close to her siblings and their families. “We all have our own love story filled with passion and drama which feeds my inspiration.”
