THE BOOK IS A BOOK OF IDEAS ON HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF
CAPITALIST SOCIETY . Each chapter is a split narrative from the point of view of the black cultural thinker and the Western
cultural thinker. It aims to encourage the reader to think positively about the past and how it impacts on the future it
encourages the reader to be proud of their history and learn from it because if we do not forgive the past we are the
ones who will live in bondage. We need freedom of mind to think differently about the past history of slavery and to look
at it with positive eyes after all if it was not for slavery we would not be here in the west. Slavery and colonisation were
horrible but we need to learn the lessons of the past so this book challenges the thinking of readers about the past and
looks at the future with hope for a better life for our children to soar to majestic heights. This book encourages our
young people to have dreams and visions for their lives and to encourage politicians, educationalists and academics to
consider some of the ideas about solving society’s problems.
The book explores different ideas such as what if there was a marketplace for values with shopping malls set up to sell or
trade in moral values, talent and ideas? What if there was the shopping experience transformed into a different kind of
journey where people leave feeling they have purchased peace, joy and love in various forms? The fact is that many
people simply spend leisure time going window shopping and the experience is almost a religious one. They want
somewhere to go, somewhere to see and be seen but problems are created when mothers and their childre lack the
finances to support this pastime. Some children are tempted to steal, to envy and hate others who can afford these
material resources. Others simply internalise the negative and have difficulty managing such later on.
Other ideas for consideration for a free school franchise, what if the curriculum taught about Africa as the motherland of
all civilisation and as the first world people and the intelligences are ones of independence, intuition and integrity for
improvement. What if the second world was the middle east and taught the writings of three men: one mission of
peace to the world and the main virtue being love. What if the third world was Europe, the fatherland focusing on
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This free school idea would teach the language and literature of
the three worlds and achieve a spiritual legacy as they will learn Rites of passage education which is honouring the
important milestones of human development helps us to stay in touch with our own natural cycles as individuals, as a
culture and as a community. Rites of passage helps us to better understand that we have crossed a threshold and are
changed from one state of being to another.
