About the Book

Laughter Is a Child is a book written by a child for other children. A series of poems, from simple, creative rhymes to longer, thought provoking poems, this book is for the early and advanced reader alike, as well as anyone in between who is needing to re-connect with the magic and simplicity of a child’s perspective. This book also includes a series of 43 beautifully illustrated drawings to encourage and inspire the reader to have fun, while allowing them to use their imagination to create the colours for each scene in the poems as they go. At the end of each chapter, you will find blank pages where you can create based on inspiration from the book.

About the Author

Leila Krupich is still a child at heart. She wrote the book when she was a child, wanting to share the laughter and silliness with other children and the inner child that lies within all of us. Inspired by great children’s book authors such as Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein, this book was created.
