Poetry is food for the soul. Sofia Lorelle has written poems that will make you think, feel and wonder where you are in your life as she wondered about where she was in her own.

You will find doubt, hope, love, and faith within these pages. You will be able to give yourself permission to live life out loud and dare to reach for your dreams with the power you find within...yourself.

About the Author

I am a certified nurse midwife by trade. I have been for eleven years this year after having practiced as a registered nurse on labor and delivery for nineteen years. I have had the pleasure of assisting old spirits into new lives for thirty years now. I have also been a lover of words. While I have never considered myself a spiritual person per se, I was looking for that “something” that makes life make sense. Fortunately, that something found me in the guise of a book and a feeling of love. You don’t have to be qualified to have an opinion. That is a God given right. And writing a poem is an expressive act that if comes from genuine emotion, can influence those open to it. I hope that many will be able open to it and find value in the words I was inspired to write. I currently live, practice midwifery, and write in Yonkers, New York.
