I will relate just a few stories here, because my experiences seem to be endless. Jim I was traveling with my extended family on a group vacation, and we were stuck in an airport because our flight had been delayed. My niece and her new husband Jim had joined our trip, and he had asked me for a reading while we were delayed at the airport. Jim was skeptical that anyone could have the ability to communicate with spirits, but he was very curious. I was not real comfortable with his request because of his skepticism, and because we were in an airport. I didn’t know if I could make a connection with spirit, if there were so many people around. If I was unsuccessful, that would be proof to him that communicating with spirit is nonsense. Jim and I moved to a more private waiting area in the airport. I asked him to pray with me, and to silently ask the friend or family member with whom he wanted to communicate, to come to us. We bowed our heads and I said a quiet prayer. I prayed for guidance and for only positive messages for Jim's well being. I then lifted my head and in my mind’s eye, I saw an older man near a lake or a river? I asked Jim if he had lost a grandfather, and with skepticism in his voice, he told me that he had. The next thing that I sensed was that his grandfather had taught Jim to fish, and that his name was John. Jim, at this point, was shocked, but still not convinced. I proceeded by telling Jim that his grandfather was proud of him and that he wanted to make sure that Jim knew this. He also approved of the relationship between Jim and my niece. This was very moving for Jim, because that was a question that he wanted to ask his grandfather. “I sense a dog around him,” I told Jim. I was not looking straight at Jim, because I didn’t want to lose my concentration. I wanted to give him the best possible reading. Jim broke down into tears with his face in his hands. I knew that the reading needed to end. After Jim composed himself, he shared with me that he didn’t expect anyone to come through. But in the beginning of the reading, when I told him to ask for someone who he wanted to come through, he did in fact ask for his grandfather. He asked his grandfather if he was proud of him and the decisions that he had made in his life. The last thing that he had asked his grandfather during his prayer before we began the reading was, “if this is real, can you please bring the family dog with you?” When I told him that I sensed a dog with his grandfather, Jim had the confirmation that he needed. He knew that his grandfather had come through. He is now a believer. Claire I was just starting my journey into mediumship. After I had taken several classes, I decided that it would be best for me to start practicing by giving readings to people. My sister had a friend, Claire. They had been friends for quite a while. They were co-workers. I had been introduced to her at one time, but I did not know her well at all. I knew nothing of her past or of her family and she agreed have a reading with me. At this time, seeing spirits was starting to become a routine for me, as I would frequently see them appear in my thoughts and dreams. At times, I even saw them standing at my bedside. They always had messages for me to give to their loved ones and friends. So, it was not a surprise to me, when a few nights before I was to meet with Claire at my sister’s house, I had a vision. I had gotten into bed and closed my eyes. In a flash, I saw Claire’s face.
