About the Book

A self-help book for body, mind and spirit. This book describes the way orbs in photographs first became known to Lexene and then gives us insight into how her journey through orb photography progressed. It is also an orb pictorial, as she has included over 200 of her orb photographs in this work. There were some startling surprises for Lexene in the many orb photographs she had taken over a period of 7 years, and she now shares their mystery and magic, her discoveries and insights with you, in this beautiful and inspirational work. The orbs and also other various luminosities will intrigue and captivate the reader, as does the many peaceful evening scenes in which they were captured.

About the Author

Lexene was born in Tasmania, Australia and has been living in Darwin, Australia since 1988. After she found that conventional medicine was not healing her long-term back pain, she became interested in alternative healing, completing several healing retreats and courses including Reiki, crystal healing, sound, colour, native American healing and ALPHA mind-power healing. It was also around this time that Lexene began to read many books by self-help and spiritual teachers including Dr David R Hawkins, Louise Hay, Deepak Chopra, Don Miguel Ruiz, Eckhart Tolle and Neale Donald Walsch and completed A Course in Miracles. She retired from a banking career of approx 36 years, in 2012. Later in 2012 Lexene attended a Hay House Writing Workshop in Sydney, Austalia and by 2013 had begun working on her first book about the orbs in photographs phenomenon - an often controversial subject. This book was published in July 2014. Lexene has always been interested in photography and learned about the 'orbs' in 2007 not long after she had purchased her first digital camera. Fascinated with the energy that the orbs brought to her photographs Lexene began to build albums of orb photographs, gaining awareness of herself, nature and a spiritual presence whilst in the process of writing about her journey with the 'orbs'. Lexene is currently writing a book for children as well as writing a follow-on book about orbs in photographs, as she has gained new insights into the phenomena. As a volunteer tourism ambassador, Lexene greets and assists the passengers from cruise ships visiting Darwin, and also enjoys walking and travel.
