About the Author
Valerie Vita is a woman of science and spirituality, research and meditation, seriousness and laughter. Valerie spent 25 years on active duty in the military, and is a retired U.S. Army Colonel. She holds a doctorate in Industrial Engineering and now works as a Human Factors research engineer.
She spends her time conducting behavioral and applied research, guiding others in uncovering or rediscovering their own vital life path, teaching mindfulness meditation, and creating and learning—always learning. She is a mother, daughter, sister, and wife. She lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband, son, daughter, and Labradoodle, Zelda.
