About the Author

Growing up in the countryside of England during her childhood Fiona found it easy to find adventures. This continued when she moved to Australia and raised her own family in country NSW. She has developed a unique and creative style of writing following on from her first book called “Growing Great Families” She shares many stories and words of encouragement, all whilst using nature as an analogy to learn from. Fiona’s second book called Fipa’s World is the first initial book in this children’s series which is about country life in NSW, Australia. Appealing to the younger generation and their imagination has been a part of Fiona’s life and career. After working as a Registered Nurse for 17 years, a teacher of Gymbaroo for children for 5 years, an elected Councillor with Orange NSW for 8 years and a small business owner of Bissys cafe, Permaculture educational centre and lots of community work and fundraising events. Not to mention Fiona’s family of eight children and caring for more than 30 foster children and hosting many exchange students and international volunteers. As you can imagine Fiona has a wealth of knowledge and so many adventures to share. This is the second book in a series available for children.
