The Journey of a Fool

THE FOOL The Fool is a person who walks always in the Light of the Spirit with little regard to the rules of the physical world. To the person who only walks in the physical world, the Spiritual person looks foolish.... thus, the Fool. The Fool listens to his or her own heart of hearts and dances to the beat of a different drummer. In the Bible, he or she is referred to as “the ridiculous one”. This person would listen to the breath of the Spirit and act accordingly, not necessarily answering or explaining oneself to any physical person, or set of rules. This “foolish” behavior seems unwise. As an example, the Fool is only interested in things that can be taken from this world - i.e. the experiences they learn while passing through this life and the relationships they encounter along their path. They have little regard for physical things such as money, furniture, cars, etc. The Fool ‘knows’ that anything he or she may want can be manifested when needed. There is no concern for alarm or worry; and with their desires of the heart to lead them, they merrily go on their way. The person in this story is a portrait of a Fool. This person is me, but at this time I was not intending to be a Fool. In fact, I had no idea such an incarnation was possible. It would be ten years later before I took a class from Pamela Eakins in Half Moon Bay, California and learned the true meaning to be a Fool, and I am still learning to this day. There are times when our lives collapse in shambles and we think it is the end of our life, everything we have ever known, and we are to be no more. It is at these very moments that life really begins and we are closer to the “Face of God or Source” than we could ever know. This book is about such a time........ Enjoy!
